We are searching for a diligent Financial Controller to join a manufacturing business in Merseyside. The role requires a proficient individual to oversee financial activities, ensuring financial compliance across our European entities.

Client Details

The business is highly acquisitive and progress and is a leading player in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry, with a large presence across the globe.

Description

  • Lead the development and implementation of effective financial policies and procedures
  • Oversee financial activities across European entities
  • Ensure financial compliance in accordance with EU regulations
  • Prepare and present financial reports and statements
  • Coordinate with finance teams to streamline financial operations
  • Participate in financial audits and implement corrective actions
  • Manage financial databases and maintain accurate financial records
  • Support the finance team in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts

Profile

A successful Financial Controller should have:

  • A relevant qualification (ACA, ACCA ideally)
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in financial software and databases
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail

SAP experience would be ideal, as would US GAAP exposure.

Job Offer

  • Salary in the region of £70,000 to £90,000 level dependent on experience
  • Hybrid work model - 3 days in Merseyside combined with working from home
