Job Overview: Commodity Manager based at the Stoke site
As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for managing procurement expenditure and product related services, this must also include the development of the Strategic Relationships with existing, former, and future Suppliers.
Responsible for ensuring requirements are met on time and in accordance with the appropriate quality standards, delivering a highly capable and cost-effective supply base, focus must be on developing and implementation giving leadership and direction to the commodity management teams and other areas of Supply Chain management, when required.
This role entails operating at a Management Level with a high degree of autonomy, whilst managing, mentoring, and developing an effective Commodity Team response globally, delivering cost effective solutions for our Cargo sites.
In this role, you will define and own the capability, strategy, and operational excellence of your assigned commodities.
