Senior Electronics Design Engineer Grove Design is a long-established Engineering Design Consultancy based in Herefordshire with strong skills in Mechanical and Electronic Engineering Product Design and Analysis. We are looking to expand our capabilities in Electronics Design. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing developing and testing electronic hardware systems including analogue digital and mixed-signal circuits. You will play a key role in transforming product requirements into reliable and manufacturable circuit designs. We need someone who: Is probably degree qualified in an appropriate area (but proven capability/attitude is more important); Has experience in leading the design of production electronics including schematics PCB layouts (ideally with KiCAD) from concept to production as well as conducting circuit simulations and signal integrity analysis to ensure reliable operation. Has experience in writing production software for embedded platforms. Can guide junior engineers and provide technical mentorship. Can support continuous improvement in engineering standards processes and documentation. Will ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. EMC safety RoHS).It would be advantageous to have: Prototyping and simulation electronic skills. Understanding of electronic component supply chains Broader mechatronic skills. Experience using tools such as: LTspice E-Plan STMcube MATLAB Simulink; Experience with industrial wiring and PLCs Experience with BLE. The ability to communicate directly with clients in a professional manner and effectively demonstrate our expertise in this discipline.Youll work on a variety of exciting projects. You will need to stay focused when the pressure is on (we do have deadlines). Youll get the chance to work with and learn from an inspiring team of engineers.The studio and workshop are set in beautiful countryside.
