We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Head Gardener to lead a small team looking after well known Cotswold garden which extends to about 8 acres including formal gardens and borders, a kitchen garden two heated greenhouses as well as informal areas and an orchard.The garden is opened several times a year for charities and for private visits.You will have day to responsibility for managing the garden and will work with the owner, a garden designer.

The successful candidate will:

  1. Have a formal horticultural qualification
  2. Have excellent knowledge about all aspects of propagation and cultivation
  3. Have a proven track record of garden skills with attention to detail
  4. Be competent in operating and maintaining machinery

The position will attract a competitive salary, excellent benefits including a pension contribution and comfortable three bedroom accommodation.
