This role, which offers hybrid working conditions, is initially a 6-month temporary contract based on the outskirts of Bath, with the potential for becoming a permanent position.
The Role:
As the company’s first in-house hire for their marketing function, your new position as Marketing & Communications Officer will place you at the forefront of crafting and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
You will shape digital marketing efforts, produce engaging content, manage social media platforms, and optimize search engine performance. Your ability to analyze data will be essential for assessing campaign success and driving ongoing improvements.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the development and execution of a full-scale marketing strategy that supports business growth.
- Managing digital marketing activities, including lead generation and customer engagement.
- Creating high-quality content for the website, social media, and internal communications.
- Overseeing social media management and performance metrics.
- Coordinating SEO and SEM efforts with external partners to enhance online visibility.
- Developing and executing targeted email marketing campaigns.
- Monitoring key marketing performance indicators and providing data-driven recommendations.
- Ensuring all marketing practices comply with industry regulations and guidelines.

- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing communications or a relevant role.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, SEO, and analytics.
- Excellent analytical and project management abilities.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- The capacity to work independently as well as part of a team.
