Pre-Construction Manager £500/day + Travel | (Oxford-based, covering Midlands & South) We are currently recruiting for an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to join G Stow on a freelance basis working on bore hole projects. This role is based in Oxford, with travel across the Midlands and the South. 💰 Day Rate: £500/day 🚗 Travel Expenses: Covered Key Responsibilities: Develop accurate cost analyses and pricing with the project team. Manage tendering processes and coordinate site surveys. Maintain and build subcontractor relationships. Support Project Managers during the transition from pricing to contract. Conduct site surveys to assess risks and ensure compliance with specifications, H&S, and CDM regulations. Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to ensure performance and compliance. Liaise with local authorities to ensure safety and occupancy compliance. Prepare pre-construction and construction programmes, highlighting key dates and risks. Manage procurement schedules and ensure safety documentation is in place. Produce and manage pre-construction RFIs. Build strong client relationships and manage multiple projects efficiently. Use internal systems for costing, project preparation, and handover to delivery teams. Review project documentation for compliance with budget and standards.
