Role Overview:


As an EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe working environment, upholding the high safety standards integral to our manufacturing processes. This position requires a proactive approach to compliance, safety culture, and continuous improvement across our site.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide expert EHS advisory services to the business and its stakeholders
  • Serve as the go-to EHS contact, prioritizing and responding to demands in a dynamic environment
  • Offer advice on workplace risk management and environmental impact
  • Attend relevant project and tier meetings, contributing valuable insights
  • Support EHS representatives and assist with site-wide risk assessments
  • Demonstrate and model exemplary EHS practices and behaviours
  • Participate actively in our Safety Program and EHS audit/inspection schedules
  • Collaborate to maintain and enhance the EHS management system to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and environmental permits
  • Design and deliver training programs, ensuring compliance with site-wide EHS requirements
  • Facilitate regular toolbox talks and contribute to safety programs


Requirements:


  • NEBOSH General Certificate is required; progression toward NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Proven experience in an EHS advisory role, ideally within a regulated or GMP-focused manufacturing environment
  • Solid background in Risk Assessment, Employee Training & Coaching, and Contractor Control
  • Commitment to fostering a safe workplace and promoting safety compliance
