Job DescriptionA business based in Scarborough are currently recruiting for a Finance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role offers full time working hours (37.5 hours) addition and a salary of circa 28000 to 32000 reflecting your valuable expertise and potential qualification level as well as further benefits.As a Finance Officer you will be:Assisting with regular financial functions including preparing BACs runs for suppliers.Weekly Bank reconciliationMonthly update of the fixed asset registerAssist in production of monthly management reports managing budget allocation and cost analysisAssist with the preparation of VAT returnsAssist with budget related activitiesAssist with Payroll administrationTo be successful in this Finance Officer role you will ideally have/be:Strong organisational attention to detail and time management skillsProficiency in Sage or similar accounting software with the ability to manage invoicing and reportingAbility to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.AAT qualified or similar level experience (QBE)Previous experience of responsibility for accounts function in small to medium sized businessThis fantastic opportunity based in the Newby area of Scarborough is easily commutable from Sherburn Filey HunmanbyScarborough Whitby and the surrounding areas.
