About the Role:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk with fluent German language skills to join their finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with German-speaking suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify invoices in both English and German.
- Ensure accurate coding and timely posting of invoices to the accounting system.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Handle payment runs, ensuring all payments are made accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with German-speaking suppliers to resolve invoice queries.
- Assist with month-end closing processes and accruals.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
- Support the finance team with ad hoc tasks and projects.
Key Requirements:
- Fluent in German (both written and spoken) and English.
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar finance role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience with an ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
