Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant/Manager - Interim (12 months)

Oliver James are partnered with a leading retailer that are looking for a dynamic Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant/Manager to join their team on a 12-month interim basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced marketing technology leader to make a real impact in an innovative, fast-paced retail environment. With flexible hybrid working, you'll have the freedom to balance remote work with on-site collaboration, with just 2 days per week required at the office.

In this role, you'll not only be responsible for optimising and developing the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform but also take on some line management responsibilities, leading a small team of Marketing Cloud experts. What You'll Do:

  • Lead & Optimise the Platform: Oversee the health, performance, and scalability of the retailer's Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. Ensure it runs smoothly, scales with the business, and supports marketing teams globally in executing successful campaigns.
  • Hands-On Development: As a technical expert, you'll take a hands-on approach to developing, configuring, and optimising marketing automation solutions within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, and other core tools.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor a small team of Marketing Cloud specialists. You'll inspire and guide your team, ensuring their professional growth while fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and excellence.

What You Bring:

  • Hands-On Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and configuring Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Content Builder, etc.). You are a true expert in the platform and can handle complex configurations and troubleshooting.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to manage and mentor a small team of Marketing Cloud experts. You're able to inspire, guide, and support your team in achieving high performance and delivering outstanding results.
  • Proven Track Record: Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful marketing technology solutions. You know how to balance technical expertise with business needs and prioritise effectively.
