Children's Registered Home Manager – Manchester
Salary: Up to £75k (Dependent on experience)
Location: Manchester
Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are working on behalf of a Children's social care provider to source a Registered Home Manager to lead a team to deliver high standards of care and support for young people.
You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of a 3-bed home, ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations and creating a positive, family-like environment. All applicants must have experience supporting children with SEMH and EBD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership, supporting and inspiring staff to deliver excellent care.
- Ensure the home operates within Ofsted and statutory regulations, maintaining or exceeding ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ ratings.
- Oversee the development and implementation of individualised care plans that meet each child’s needs.
- Recruit, train, and manage a skilled and compassionate team.
- Promote and ensure the safety and welfare of all children within the home.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- At least 2 years of management experience in a children’s residential care setting.
- A strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and requirements.
- Passion for improving the lives of children and young people.
