The RoleAs an HR Business Partner, you will: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and managers across a diverse workforceProvide strategic and operational HR support aligned to organisational objectivesLead on complex employee relations cases including change, performance, absence, and disciplinary mattersSupport organisational change, workforce planning, and service transformation initiativesInterpret and apply employment legislation, policies, and best practice within a public sector environmentUse data and insight to influence decision-making and improve people outcomesAbout YouYou will bring: Proven experience working as an HR Business Partner (public sector experience desirable but not essential)Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practiceConfidence operating in complex, unionised environmentsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsA pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with the ability to balance risk and commercialityWhats on OfferCompetitive hourly rate of£29.94Long-term contract providing stability through toJune 2026Could become permanent for the right personHybrid working arrangement offering flexibilityOpportunity to contribute to meaningful services that impact local communitiesAbasic DBS checkwill be required for this role.
