This role plays a key part in our expansion strategy, helping us deliver compliance, risk management, remedial works, and consultancy services to an expanding client portfolio. Backed by industry-leading experts in legionella management and compliance, we deliver consultancy, legionella risk assessments, water treatment, monitoring, and training across all aspects of water hygiene and legionella control.This is a hybrid role, ideally suited to candidates based in the Reading/Thames Valley region.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and engage prospective clients through inbound and outbound sales, converting leads into long-term relationshipsCollaborate with our marketing team on targeted lead-generation campaignsFollow up on inbound leads from PPC and online marketing activityMaintain accurate sales records within Salesforce to support forecasting and strategic planningWork with internal teams to prepare accurate pricing, proposals, and service informationNegotiate contracts and successfully close deals that deliver value for both clients and the businessMeet and exceed individual and team sales targets, with excellent opportunities for career progressionWe’re looking for someone with exceptional communication skills, a strong commercial mindset, and solid knowledge of the water sector.Skills, Knowledge & ExpertiseIdeally a member of WMSOCProactive, resilient, and driven, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced sales environmentStrong written and verbal communication skills, confident engaging customers via phone, email, and face-to-faceExcellent relationship-building skills with the ability to nurture long-term partnershipsExperience in transactional sales, including cold calling and generating leads through market toolsStrong negotiation and persuasion skills, capable of identifying opportunities and closing dealsHighly self-motivated, able to work independently and within a collaborative teaConfident IT user, including Microsoft OfficePassionate about business development, sales, and the environmental/water sector, with a desire for continuous learningJob BenefitsBenefitsCompany VehicleCommission on sales25 days of annual leave including bank holidays, plus the option to buy additionalEmployee Assistance Programme offering confidential support whenever you need£250 work birthday bonus after two years of serviceFree on-site parkingFully funded training and development, supporting you to progress into new rolesAnd yes — we even have an office dog to brighten your day
