Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer Location: Barrow in Furness - Hybrid - 2 days per week on-site Role Type: Permanent Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 depending on experience Our client, an established engineering firm, require an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their multi-disciplined team. ** Please note we can only consider sole UK Nationals (no dual nationalities) due to security restrictions ** As part of the Electrical Equipment Team, you will be involved in the specification and tendering of equipment within the Electrical Power System and subsequently will manage the technical side of the contract through staged design reviews through to design completion, working closely with external suppliers to meet the standards of engineering excellence required. What the role of the Electrical Design Engineer entails: Some of the main duties of the Electrical Design Engineer will include: Writing technical specifications and supporting in the down selection and placing of contracts Liaising and collaborating with external suppliers and the customer Following design lifecycle management to ensure the delivery of equipment to specification Providing technical consultation to multi-discipline teams, suppliers and stakeholders on matters related to the power system Preparing technical reports, calculations, and presentations to communicate results and recommendations effectively What experience yo...
