An exciting new contract opportunity has arisen for a finance systems analyst to work at a leading law firm in Liverpool. This role sits within the finance systems function and works closely alongside business support teams and practice areas.

Main day to day responsibilities:

  • Supporting and maintaining the firm's current business systems
  • Troubleshooting and query resolution.
  • Reviewing and improving business processes.
  • Reviewing and implementing new applications.
  • 2nd line billing and time recording support.
  • Creating SQL queries and reports.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting workflows.
  • Analysing client and matter data.
  • Testing new applications.
  • Training users.

Main experience and skills required includes:

  • Excellent application and back-end knowledge of Aderant.
  • Experience of InTapp and Chrome River.
  • Knowledge of legal billing.
  • Excellent working knowledge of SQL queries.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Exposure to project work and managing timescales.
  • Previous law firm experience.

To be considered for this role, you need to be proactive, hardworking, organised and able to structure your own work. Also required is the ability to research issues and problem solve and it is essential that you demonstrate a willingness to learn new applications and technologies.
