About the job

An excellent opportunity here for a talented Business Development Director – GB&I to join an innovative, tech-savvy Robotics & AI venture ( Alphadroid Ltd.) in London focusing towards transformation of Retail, hospitality and healthcare sector through robotics in their front office operations.

The venue bring strong operating credibility with big brands in India, and aim to expand in GB&I.

We are searching for an exceptional leader to launch and grow the business of Alphadroid in the UK Market through existing product portfolio.


You will be working in a highly positive, constructive and proactive environment, and as BDD – GB&I it is expected that you will develop and utilise your industry knowledge to add value to the customer at every interaction and lay the foundations for a long-term partnership. We’re seeking a high sales achievers with an excellent track record of winning new business in your respective market. The role demands high level of creativity, unconventional trials and extra effort to bring robotics in the sector of hospitality, retail and healthcare. Given the product is new, it will call for strong conviction and motivation to constantly explore new customer segment.


Responsibilities

  • Develop business target, prospects, strategy, execution blueprint for growth in GB&I
  • Delivering against business revenue targets
  • Leading strong go-to-market strategies, and unlocking new opportunities for both current and prospective clients
  • Driving physical and digital outsourced sales solutions
  • Using your creative flair to come up with new and innovative solutions to excite and inspire prospects & clients
  • Driving the success of the business development team, including pre-sales and marketing
  • Regularly developing sales collateral to win new business, utilising the marketing team and personal experience to create compelling “stories”, ensuring that Alphadroid is always at the forefront of our prospective clients’ minds
  • Ensuring client proposals are maximising opportunities for the business through research and appropriate costing
  • Identifying new opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the hospitality, retail and health care sector working closely with Director of new category.
  • Managing client prospects through the onboarding process
  • Strategic approach to vertical and sub-vertical targeting, to maximise current client wins
  • Accurate forecasting, reporting and pipeline management, as well as presenting your plans.
  • Working closely with new category director, marketing director and the founder to prioritise Product Development and customer requirements
  • Build and leverage strong external and internal relationships on multiple levels


Requirements

  • At least 5 years’ experience in AI/Robotics/RetailTech/B2B sales
  • Take pride in delivering on every commitment and exceeding expectations
  • Understanding of solution selling and creation of solid client relationships
  • Have experience working and negotiating with clients at a senior level
  • Experience and familiarity in Robotics, Hospitality, and Retail
  • Bonus points for previous experience working in an early stage, high growth business
  • Strategic leadership thinking and ability
  • A self-starter, happy to ‘roll their sleeves up’, with a proven track record of consistently meeting goals.
  • An impeccable level of integrity and therefore solid reputation are a must
  • A solution seller, that tailors their message to the needs of the customer; is assertive and takes control of the sale
  • A strategic thinker with excellent project management skills and the ability to lead and manage time-sensitive initiatives in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
  • Be ‘curious’ with your approach and always seek out the best solution for your clients
  • Successfully work in a team with the ability to work independently and lead from the front
