About the Role:

As Care Home Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our residents and leading our dedicated care team. Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading with passion: Provide leadership and direction to staff, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Championing resident care: Oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care, medication administration and adherence to care plan. Meeting residents' physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Building a strong team: Recruit, train, and develop care staff, maintaining adequate staffing levels.
  • Excellence in operations Manage the day-to-day operations of the care home facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines. Oversee medication administration and adherence to care plans. Conduct assessments and develop individualised care plans for residents. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Implement quality assurance measures to enhance resident care.
  • Communication and collaboration: Liaise with residents, families, and stakeholders, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Commitment to quality: Maintain accurate records and foster continuous improvement by regularly evaluating care and implementing changes.
  • Safety first: Ensure the safety and security of residents and staff.


Essential Requirements:

  • Degree in nursing or NVQ/SVQ Level 4 or 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a healthcare or residential care management role.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends.


We're looking for someone who:

Strong background in dementia care and medication administration.

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, social work, or a related field.
  • NVQ/SVQ Level 5 in leadership and management (or equivalent).
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good organisational and communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices..
