Psychiatric Nurse

Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) – Memory Assessment Service

Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for a Mental Health Nurse to join the Memory Assessment Service team in Morecambe. This is a full-time role working within a multidisciplinary team to support dementia assessments and care planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, planning, consultations, and formulation towards dementia diagnosis.
• Develop and implement evidence-based strategies and interventions for the treatment of dementia.
• Refer patients to appropriate services or agencies to ensure comprehensive care.
• Identify and address risk factors, ensuring patient safety and wellbeing.
• Provide mentorship and clinical supervision to staff and trainees.
• Act as a communication link between GPs, non-statutory services, and other agencies to ensure high standards of care.
• Support the team manager in delivering effective leadership and oversight of care processes.

Position Details:

• Location: Morecambe
• Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 3 Months
• Rate: £25.00 per hour
• Pay Type: Umbrella or PAYE available

Requirements:

• Qualified RMN with current NMC registration.
• Specialist knowledge and experience in dementia care and memory assessment services.
• Strong assessment, risk management, and care planning skills.
• Experience in mentoring and supervising staff.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team and with external agencies.
