Senior Recruitment Consultant (IT Contract) – City of London


Permanent people are delighted to be working with a well-respected recruitment specialist who recruits IT professionals globally. Their international knowledge, passion and creative approach to recruitment makes them unique within the industry.


Our client have experienced real growth in the contract area in 2023, and this has continued in 2024 with several contract recruiters being at the £1m+ level.


Due to their ongoing success and growth, they are looking to expand their team by hiring an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant with a background in a niche IT/Tech Contract area.


About the role –

This is a full 360-recruitment role where you will take over a warm desk with existing clients to immediately leverage from but will still be required to expand the company’s client base and develop your own network.

You will have to research and secure new clients as well as find, screen and build your own pool of candidates.


Some of your responsibilities will involve:

  • Understanding the end to end recruitment process
  • Delivering a world class service to both clients’ and candidates’
  • Engaging in sales and business development to build your network
  • Negotiating pay, salary rates and employment offers between candidates and clients
  • Promoting yourself, the business and services through various channels

  • At least 2 years contract recruitment experience within the IT/Tech sector - covering either SAP, ERP, Cloud, Data, BI,
  • Great team player but also able to use your initiative to work independently

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and can easily build new relationships
