Role Description

EcoWise is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Innovation Project Lead to join our Circular Economy team. This role will involve co-managing the United Circles project (2024–2028), funded under Horizon Europe, and driving the development and marketing of our flagship TRACID SaaS platform that will be further advanced in United Circles.


The €26M United Circles project focuses on developing cutting-edge technologies for a 100% circular materials economy in the water, wastewater, construction, and bioplastics sectors through urban-industral symbiosis of materials. TRACID, our digital product passport solution, will be utilised to contribute to this mission by enabling trusted, verifiable data management for sustainable supply chains covering product and materials data.


We are looking for a project lead who excels at managing innovation projects that include software product development, with experience in bringing innovations from projects to the market.


Company Description

EcoWise was founded in 2016 in London, UK to deliver digital environmental services. Our role in the project is as a technical coordinator and to provide our Digital Product and Material Passport solution TRACID. Digital Product Passports provide a digital identity card for products, components, and materials, which store relevant information to support products’ sustainability, promote their circularity and strengthen legal compliance. All products sold in the European Union will be required to have Digital Product Passports over time, accessible through QR-codes on products. The UK government is still evaluating the introduction of similar legislation.


Role Responsibilities

Project Management Leadership:

  • Co-manage the United Circles project, collaborating with 40+ partners across Europe.
  • Oversee the execution of work packages and ensure innovation objectives are met.
  • Support the financial and technical reporting for the United Circles project.


Innovations delivery:

  • Facilitate engagement and collaboration with companies, associations, NGOs, universities, and local governments to drive project success in United Circles and related external networks.
  • Advance innovative concepts in the United Circles project and their support in delivering a circular materials economy, including through TRACID SaaS.


Market Lead Generation:

  • Represent EcoWise and TRACID SaaS at industry events, conferences, and stakeholder meetings
  • Advocate for TRACID’s role in addressing circular economy challenges for product and materials data management, focusing on trusted data management and verifiable claims
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to generate leads and establish partnerships for TRACID SaaS
