Social Media Campaign Officer

  • Contract Type: 9-month interim
  • Location: Near Warrington
  • Hybrid working : 3 days a week in office and 2 days from home
  • Salary: £18.18 per hour PAYE or £22.53 per hour via Umbrella

We are seeking a Social Media Campaign Officer to join our team on a 9-month interim basis. The role is pivotal in supporting our social media campaigns, aimed at educating and influencing customer behaviour positively. You will be instrumental in showcasing our identity, mission, and values to customers, communities, investors, suppliers, and partners.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Collaborate with marketing and campaign managers to execute impactful social media campaigns.
  • Manage the communications calendar, aligning campaigns with key awareness days and events.
  • Create and publish engaging content tailored to specific audiences across various social media channels.
  • Monitor and measure the success of social media campaigns, providing recommendations for continuous improvement in line with our social media strategy.
  • Work in partnership with internal and external communications teams to ensure consistent content delivery.
  • Assist the social media customer service team in responding to customer queries related to campaign activities.
  • Prepare briefs for the design and production of campaign materials, managing third-party supplier relationships.
  • Support fundraising initiatives for charity partners, ensuring visibility across all communication channels.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Excellent writing skills, with the ability to maintain an appropriate tone of voice and stay on brand.
  • Good numerical skills for reporting and analysing campaign data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other core applications.
  • Knowledge of web CMS and content publishing.
  • Experience in delivering campaigns through social media platforms, with a particular understanding of TikTok preferred.
