Job Title Global Payroll Manager Job Description Shape the future of global payroll operations. We're looking for a Global Payroll Operations Manager to lead a team of payroll analysts and oversee end-to-end payroll processes across multiple countries. In this role, you'll provide leadership, ensure compliance, and contribute to global payroll initiatives-including automation, risk management, and process improvement. This role will work in the office 3 days a week and 2 from home. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage payroll operations for multiple countries using ADP GlobalView • Provide day-to-day guidance to a team of Global Payroll Analysts • Support internal and external audits, ensuring governance and compliance • Collaborate with key stakeholders to streamline and improve central processes (e.g. Share Plans, Commissions, Salary Reviews) • Maintain up-to-date payroll documentation in Confluence and enforce governance models • Contribute to global payroll initiatives including automation, internal controls, and data retention • Manage vendor relationships, including ADP MyView portal administration, ticketing, and user access audits • Oversee payroll-related purchase orders and invoicing • Support business continuity planning for the payroll function • Act as a proxy for the Global Payroll Transformation Manager and other Payroll Managers when needed What You'll Bring: • 5+ years of multi-country payroll experience • Experience using ADP (GlobalView preferred) and/or SAP Payroll • Strong knowledge of payroll governance, compliance, and best practices • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills • Familiarity with data tools such as Excel, Power BI, and automation platforms • Experience managing vendors and cross-functional stakeholders • Leadership experience • Project or performance management experience (desirable) • Knowledge of time & attendance systems (e.g. Kronos) and ticketing tools (e.g. ServiceNow) • Agile mindset and ability to adapt quickly to new tasks and tools Your benefits (Only Applicable for UK Based Roles) Benefits video - https://youtu.be/TCMtTYUUiuU • Generous bonuses and pension scheme: Up to 8% matched pension contribution plus 2% top-up by Sage. • 25 days of paid annual leave with the option to buy up to another 5 days • Paid 5 days yearly to volunteer through our Sage Foundation • Enhanced parental leave • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage • Work away scheme for up to 10 weeks a year • Access to various helpful memberships for finances, health and wellbeing #LI-CF1 Function People Country United Kingdom Office Location Newcastle;Winnersh Work Place type Hybrid Advert Working at Sage means you're supporting millions of small and medium sized businesses globally with technology to work faster and smarter.
