Along the way youll build deep technical expertise through structured learning tailored to your roleall while developing a strong foundation in executive compensation and the broader industry landscape.The RoleExcellenceDevelop technical knowledge and skills in the area of Executive CompensationDeliver on projects to meet or exceed internal or client expectationsContribute to sales and marketing efforts by supplying information for proposalsApply financial rigour through accurate time recording and invoicingClientsPartner with consultants and clients to design strategies to attract reward and retain talentHelp our clients ensure that their executive reward programs are competitive by performing competitive benchmarking analysesPerform industry and financial research related to compensation strategy and designDevelop pay structures and incentive designs that help support companies business strategiesValue equity awards through the application of financial formulasParticipate in the design and conduct of custom compensation surveysAssist clients in their review and preparation of public disclosures regulatory filings and plan documentationIdentify competitive best practices and emerging trends in executive compensation; monitor evolving regulatory legislative and shareholder developments and report issues that may impact the clients approach to compensation strategy and designIncrease efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processesPeopleBuild relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teamsQualificationsThe RequirementTechnicalExperience as a compensation Associate a genuine interest in this field as well as the ability to do the following:Conduct custom compensation surveysPerform industry and financial research related to compensation strategy and designPerform analyses of competitive compensation levelsDevelop pay structures and analyzing the mix between fixed and variable payLearn incentive plan designValue stock option grantsAdvanced MS Excel skills requiredDevelop the technical skills required to perform quality review of work product completed by analysts in preparation for client deliveryInterpersonalA problem solver; able to identify and solve challenging problemsAnalytical; able to draw conclusions from data in a logical systematic wayConceptual; ability to go beyond the detailsn and see the big pictureResults-driven; focused on achieving results that promote business successCommunicator; displays strong oral written and public speaking skillsOrganized; able to work and think in a methodical and orderly wayCommitted to quality; continuously works to achieve the highest quality standardsAbility to carry out assignments with minimal supervisionAbility to manage own workload efficiently to full fill commitments in a timely mannerQualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in economics finance mathematics statistics or any other major with significant quantitative course work and a strong academic recordEqual Opprtunity EmployerAt WTW we believe difference makes us stronger.
