Senior Associate Commercial Lawyer role - Top Legal 500 firm - Guildford/Southampton

Our client, a prestigious organisation featured in The Times' Best Law Firms 2024 list, is seeking a Commercial Senior Associate to join their highly-regarded Commercial & Technology Team. With offices across the South-East and London, our client employs 450 professionals, including 280 lawyers and 58 Partners. As a Commercial Senior Associate, you will manage a mixed caseload of complex commercial and technology law matters while also playing a crucial role in supervising and contributing to the team's growth. To excel in this role, our client is looking for a qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive or Partner with significant experience in handling a wide range of commercial and technology agreements. Experience with technology clients and knowledge of IP and Data Protection Law would be particularly advantageous. Additionally, the ideal candidate will be proactive, accustomed to managing clients with minimal supervision, and skilled in delegating tasks to and supervising junior solicitors.

Whilst our client does not solely rely on PQE as a measure of experience, it is estimated that applicants with at least 5 years PQE would be well-suited for this position. Individuals who currently hold a Senior Associate role, with aspirations of Partnership, and existing Partners considering a lateral move are encouraged to apply. Experience or interest in marketing and business development activities is also highly desirable. Effective communication skills, a passion for assisting clients and colleagues in achieving their objectives, and a creative mindset are essential attributes that our client values.
