We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Swindon to assist with the appointment of an Environmental Cleansing Officer on a 12-month contract highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Rate of Pay: 13.69 - 17.74 per hour Responsibilities:Oversee and support cleansing operations to ensure public spaces are clean safe and well maintained.Carry out inspections of streets estates and public areas to monitor cleanliness standards.Respond to reports of fly-tipping littering and other environmental issues.Work with contractors residents and local services to improve environmental conditions.Maintain accurate records and report on cleansing activities. Essential Requirements:Previous experience in environmental cleansing waste services or a related field.Good knowledge of health & safety and environmental standards.Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with the public and contractors.Good organisational and record-keeping skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Please note: You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
