As part of our continued growth, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our Drilling Team within Uform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the drilling of hinge holes to match customer specification on their kitchen and bedroom door orders, ensuring all items meet Uform quality standard every time. It is a Drillers responsibility to ensure that their work is performed safely, accurately, efficiently and according to Uform procedure. The successful candidate will also be trained up to pick orders for the drilling team as and when required to keep the drilling team supplied with work. This role will report to the Business Unit Manager and will cover the day shift, Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure the safe drilling of product by following Uform policies, standards, and procedures. A minimum of 1 years experience working within a warehouse environment Follow each customers order specific drilling plans and specifications by checking all pieces picked match the requirements of the order and query any instructions on the order that from your experience gained does not seem correct before proceeding. Promote operational excellence through procedural discipline. Ability to work as part of a team and also independently. Computer literate to be able to record daily work completed and print off overprinting labels as required. Desirable but not essential as training will be given Any experience in the drilling of kitchen doors CNC machinery operating desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
