Ingenta are seeking a Group Account Manager who will be part of the Ingenta Senior Leadership Team with responsibility for the Group account management function which covers all customers, products and revenue streams.


The role holder will be expected to take personal responsibility for designated key customer relationships whilst also providing support and leadership for the team to ensure appropriate commercial standards are maintained.


The account management team is expected to build strong customer relationships and monitor all engagements against contracts to ensure the service delivery is in accordance with the agreement. Additionally, the account management team is responsible for identifying and completing potential up selling opportunities and reporting progress to the wider business.


The Successful Candidate will have:

  • Excellent account management skills and the proven ability to lead a team.
  • Experience working in a software and services business
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and strong organisational skills
  • Self motivated and able to work independently on specific tasks
  • Ability to work within a group whilst balancing multiple priorities and deliver tasks to an agreed schedule
  • Ability to work with from home and manage a geographically dispersed team and customer base.


Knowledge of:

  • Publishing and digital entertainment industry (especially Music)
  • Software revenue streams
  • Software deployment and management of cloud-based systems



Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Contract preparation and negotiation
  • Budget/forecast preparation and tracking
  • Proficient in producing relevant customer metrics for analysis
