Health and Safety Project Manager – £50,000 – Wolverhampton – 12 month FTC  INTERVIEWING NOW - IMMEDIATE STARTNEBOSH General Certificate, or equivalent qualification required as a minimum.This is a fantastic opening with a leading international, innovative manufacturer. Due to expansion and the development of a new state of the art facility, they are seeking a skilled and efficient Health and Safety Project Manager to effectively lead the creation and implementation of site safety and compliance frameworks. You will possess strong technical competency, with NEBOSH General Certificate qualification as a minimum. You will have exceptional management, influencing and interpersonal skills, effective at working with stakeholders at all levels. A strong team player with a high level of motivation and integrity. Ideally you will also have experience in setting up new sites and associated safety procedures and policies. This role will cover the following activities:
  • Ensuring compliant site and end of contract handover from Contractors and Stakeholders
  • Ensure safe installation of new machinery and equipment onsite
  • Development of auditing and routine checks schedule
  • Creation of site Risk Register, Defects Log and all associated site RAMS and SSOW
  • Work with site EHSS team to drive continuous improvement agenda including near miss reporting and lessons learnt procedures
  • Advise and consult on the delivery of a safe working environment
  • Carry out any accident and incident investigations, including root cause analysis and supporting with serious investigation management, RIDDOR reporting and escalation.
  • Deliver regular progress reports and reviews
  • Work collaboratively with the global Security assessments team.
  • Deliver a site specific suite of training material to include new starter Inductions
  • Identify potential risks, gaps and solutions
  • Support the onsite EHSS team in creation of site policies and procedures.
