One of our clients are looking for a Senior National Account Manager to join their expanding team.Job Title: National Account ManagerLocation: Hybrid / Field-Based (National)Sector: ProcurementAbout the RoleOur client, a leading national procurement organisation, is seeking an experienced National Account Manager to manage and grow a strategic alliance with a large national sports group. This is a senior, high-profile role combining strategic account leadership, commercial growth, and people management.Operating in a hybrid, field-based capacity, the successful candidate will take ownership of the alliance, working closely with senior stakeholders to align sales strategies, deliver commercial outcomes, and drive long-term alliance value.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the end-to-end relationship with a major national sports group, acting as the primary commercial and strategic contactDevelop and deliver strategic account and sales plans aligned with wider business objectivesWork closely with senior management to align sales strategies, solutions, and commercial prioritiesWill have an influence across multiple business departments & teams.Drive revenue growth through effective negotiation, contract management, and new business developmentManage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring delivery against agreed business plansOversee sales activity across the account, including pipeline management, opportunity conversion, and performance trackingIdentify and pitch for new business opportunities within the alliance to expand scope and valueProvide leadership to internal sales and account teams, inspiring high performance and accountabilityCollaborate cross-functionally with procurement, operations, finance, and leadership teamsRepresent the organisation at national partner meetings, events, and key stakeholder forumsAbout YouProven experience in a National Account Manager, Strategic Account Manager, or senior commercial role within a corporate or business-focused environmentStrong track record of working with senior management to align sales strategies and deliver tailored solutionsExperienced leader with the ability to support, motivate, and inspire sales teams to achieve resultsHighly commercial with an entrepreneurial approach to business development and growthExcellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of successfully pitching and winning new businessDemonstrated history of achieving sustained sales growth and delivering against business plans and targetsPeople management experience, with the ability to coach, develop, and drive team performanceConfident operating in complex, multi-site or national account environmentsComfortable in a hybrid, field-based role with regular national travelWhat’s on OfferOpportunity to manage a flagship national alliance with a high-profile sports organisationSenior, autonomous role with significant influence over commercial strategyHybrid working model with flexibility and national exposureCompetitive salary package with performance-based incentives
