We're looking to recruit a Talent Specialist to join our Angard Staffing department and support our Service Delivery Team.

The Angard Staffing Recruitment Team are the team at the very start of a candidate’s journey to working for The Royal Mail Group

The team will work with a high volume of applications that have applied to work at The Royal Mail Distribution Centres, Mail Centres and Delivery Offices up and down the United Kingdom.

The Recruitment Team will ensure that the applicants understand the recruitment process, what is required from the candidate in terms of documentation and finer details of the post the candidate has applied for.

The candidate will be guided through the process by the Recruitment Team and the team will play a point of contact for the candidates and their needs before proceeding the candidate through to the Workforce Planning Team to be deployed into work for their chosen Mail Centre.

Start date: 03/09/2024Fixed Term ContractSalary £23,500

What's a Talent Specialist?

A Talent Specialist is a junior recruitment position, where you’ll be supporting with high volume recruitment campaigns and managing candidate applications through a full recruitment process from screening to offer.

You'll be:

  • Supporting with attracting candidates using different recruitment tools
  • Providing an excellent standard of customer service and handling candidate queries
  • Managing applications through the full recruitment process
  • Collecting and checking right to work documentation on behalf of the client
  • Working towards agreed targets and SLAs to meet the client’s requirements

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for individuals with strong customer service skills who are confident in working towards and exceeding targets.

It's also essential that you:

  • Are computer literate and confident utilising MS office systems
  • Are confident communicating via telephone and email
  • Are a team player who is flexible to support colleagues as required
