Financial Controller | VC Backed | SaaS

A London based VC backed SaaS platform are looking for a full time Financial controller with experience in a fast growth, scaling up business. The client is looking for an extremely versatile and adaptable person.

What is desired?

This is a full time, permanent role with a solid hybrid model open to a mixture of office and remote working.


Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate data from various international platforms to create comprehensive monthly financial reports, covering multiple subsidiaries and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with global accounting teams to ensure timely, reliable outputs that adhere to group accounting standards and relevant reporting regulations.
  • Provide consistent, insightful management data to support broader business objectives.
  • Oversee quarterly VAT filings and coordinate with external accountants for the preparation of financial statements and corporate tax returns, including R&D credits, in the UK.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls while streamlining operational processes.


Qualifications:

  • ACCA or certified accountant with minimum 2-3 years PQE
  • Background in financial reporting and accounting
  • Relevant industry exposure preferred but not essential.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment with shifting priorities.
