This nationally significant social infrastructure project was undertaken to nurture trial and share new ideas and form new partnerships that will drive better outcomes for people who are deaf hard of hearing blind or have low the centre is based in Macquarie its impact will extend across the country to all our sites.DescriptionThe RoleNextSense has an exciting opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join our team at Blackburn site.This is a permanent full timerole on site working 38 hoursper week and reports directly to theClient Services Network Lead.As a friendly face on our team the Administration Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring that our Deaf and Hard of Hearing clients receive exceptional service. Your genuine care for our clients will shine through as you prioritise their wellbeing at every turn.Each day promises to be a fast-paced adventure where youll follow established processes to ensure timely and accurate appointment bookings and client administration tasks all while supporting our fantastic clinical staff in Blackburn. Youll be a puzzle master who enjoys delighting clients and supporting our clinical staffs success through organised and efficient service knowing that sometimes one size doesnt fit make a difference in this role by:providing high quality customer service as the first point of contact for all clients families and incoming enquiriesensuring the smooth day to day running of reception services while also providing administrative support to other NextSense servicesliaising with clients visitors and external partners such as hospitals cochlear implant providers and other allied health professionalseffectively using the electronic client management system to book appointments maintain records and bill clientsassisting in monitoring service agreements for National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) funded clientsproviding support to NextSense therapists such as diary management assisting with operational tasks and projectsWhat we can offer youCompetitive remuneration100% salary packaging allowing you to increase your take home payExtensive personal/carers leave2 weeks paid leave over Christmas in addition to 4 weeks annual leavePaid parental leave of 14 weeks for primary carer and 6 weeks for secondary carerAccess to industry leading education and professional developmentCollaborative work environmentWellbeing program including Employee Assistance ProgramSkills And ExperiencesTo be successful in this role youll need to demonstrate you meet the following selection criteria.Essential:Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applicationsPrior experience using a client management system/platformDemonstrates effective time management and teamworkPrior experience providingadministrative support and following established procedures and guidelinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWorking With Children CheckNDIS Worker CheckDesirable:Prior experience providing administrative support to allied health professionals orin the health/disability sectorWorking knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)frameworkWere here to help.
