This is a full-time, long-term role supporting a pupil who will truly benefit from a caring, consistent, and patient Teaching Assistant by their side.About the RoleWe are looking for someone who can:Build a strong, trusting relationship with a Year 3 pupilThink on their feet and use their initiativeAdapt learning approaches to help the pupil stay regulated and engagedGet down to the pupil’s level and join in with activities in a hands-on, supportive wayBring warmth, positivity, and emotional resilience to the classroomThe pupil does not display behavioural outbursts, but can become dysregulated at times and needs a Teaching Assistant who can provide calm, nurturing support and help maintain focus through flexible strategies.What you’ll need This position is especially suited to anyone with a passion for speech and language development, as the pupil is working on developing their speech and sounds.
