Position Overview:

As a Data Scientist in Residence you will be joining our 6-month Residency in which you'll dive deep into several industry projects, collaborating with a team of professionals and working on challenging projects coming from Apziva’s industry partners across different industries including Finance, Logistics, Education, Hardware, Retail, and Human Resources. This is a unique opportunity to work on industry projects, get mentored by industry experts, sharpen your skills, and make meaningful contributions to solve real-world challenges our partners face.

Requirements:

  • BA or BS degree, or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of Python, SQL, pandas, matplotlib, Scikit-Learn.
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


What We Offer:

The Residency will consist of approximately 6 months during which you will have mentoring sessions alongside project work. You will explore different industries and learn about the ongoing data initiatives in industry-leading companies. You will also work with industry expert mentors to build reliable machine learning solutions to solve different challenges that our partners face. At the end of the Residency, successful participants will get referred to our hiring partners.
