We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Children's home Manager to lead our dedicated team and make a difference in the lives of the children we support.


This will be a new 2 bed EBD home so you will have the opportunity to recruit your own staff team and help to design the home to your preference .



Role Overview


As the Registered Children's Manger, you will be responsible for the overall management of our children’s home, ensuring that the highest standards of care and support are provided. You will lead a team of skilled professionals, develop individualized support plans, and promote a positive, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and respected.



Key Responsibility


·       Oversee the daily operations of the Childrens home ensuring compliance with Ofstead regulations and national standards.

·       Lead, mentor and support staff fostering a culture of professional development and teamwork.

·       Build positive relationship with children and external agencies to promote support.

·       Monitor and evaluate the quality od care and services provided, implementing improvements as necessary.

·       Managing budgets and resources efficiently to ensure the home operated within financial guidelines.

·       Act as the primary contact for regulatory bodies, ensuring all inspections and reports are managed effectively.


 

Qualifications and Experiences  

 

·       Level 5 Diploma in leadership and management for residential childcare

·       Proven Experience in a managerial role within a children’s residential setting

·       Strong understanding of child development, safeguarding and relevant legislation

·       Excellent leaderships, communication, and interpersonal skills,

·       Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions in challenging situations.

·       A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with children and young people.

·       Full UK driving Licence
