We require a motivated, experienced individual to be the Head of Computer Science. The desired candidate will have the skills and vision required to develop a dynamic, innovative team. They will have proven leadership skills, a strong grasp of the elements of successful curriculum design and will be dedicated to improving standards and accelerating student progress.

We are looking for somebody who:

  1. Has a passion for Computer Science and experience of teaching their subject across KS3, 4 and 5
  2. Can precision plan and improve the quality of teaching and learning across a department
  3. Has the skills to develop a curriculum, implement and monitor change
  4. Can lead and motivate a team towards a shared goal
  5. Can analyse and use data effectively to ensure rapid and sustained student progress
  6. Has excellent communication skills with the ability to build excellent parent and student relationships
  7. Is willing to participate in the wider life and development of the school, including providing enrichment opportunities for students
  8. Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
