SAP Enterprise Architect

Our client, a leading global technology consultancy, is expanding its SAP capability across the UK and Europe as part of several major digital transformation and S/4HANA modernisation programmes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SC Cleared SAP Enterprise Architect to join a growing SAP Consulting & Solutioning team, shaping large-scale SAP landscapes and driving complex transformation for major enterprise customers.Please note: this role is a hybrid-based, though occasional on-site workshops may be required depending on client engagement. The role focuses on defining end-to-end SAP enterprise architectures across multi-module S/4HANA programmes, cloud transformation journeys, and RISE with SAP adoption. Therefore, the successful candidate must demonstrate deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA solution architecture, extensive experience shaping large-scale SAP programmes, and a strong background working directly with senior business and IT leadership teams.Additionally, experience designing hybrid architectures, integrating SAP with non-SAP platforms, and driving governance across complex multi-vendor environments would be highly advantageous. Exposure to SAP BTP, SAP Cloud ALM, intelligent automation, and emerging AI/ML capabilities is also beneficial.What you will be doing:Defining and leading SAP enterprise architecture strategy across multiple customers and industriesShaping S/4HANA and Cloud transformation roadmaps including RISE with SAPLeading discovery, exploration, and design activities across multi-module SAP landscapesOwning end-to-end architecture design including integration, security, data, and platform layersProviding governance, risk management, and architectural assurance across delivery engagementsDefining integration approaches with non-SAP systems, cloud platforms, and middlewareEvaluating client requirements, current architectures, and business challenges to shape proposals, bids, and delivery modelsSupporting pre-sales activities including RFPs, RFIs, solution design, and client presentationsDriving architectural standardisation, best practice adoption, and reusable patternsCollaborating closely with programme directors, technical architects, functional leads, and senior client stakeholdersProviding leadership and mentoring to SAP delivery teams and solution architectsWe’re looking for people who have:Extensive experience as an SAP Enterprise Architect across large-scale transformation programmesDeep expertise in SAP S/4HANA, Cloud strategy, and RISE with SAP operating modelsStrong understanding of enterprise IT architecture including hybrid cloud, data, integration, and security principlesProven experience shaping SAP roadmaps, governance models, and transformation strategiesStrong background working directly with CIOs, CTOs, Heads of SAP, and senior business leadersExpertise in SAP interoperability with non-SAP applications, APIs, middleware, and integration patternsExperience with TOGAF, SAP Activate, and Agile methodologiesExcellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and architectural leadership skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilityAbility to balance strategic thinking with hands-on architecture and design oversightAbility to work independently or as part of a high-performing architecture teamNice to have:SAP or Enterprise Architecture Certifications (e.g., TOGAF, SAP Certified Architect)Experience with SAP BTP, AI/ML, automation frameworks, or Cloud ALMExperience contributing to solution accelerators or reusable architectural frameworksDue to the nature of the project, the successful candidate will have a valid SC Clearance or be willing to undergo.
