Assistant Management Accountant

Our Finance Manager is looking for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join their high performing this role you will primarily be responsible for the accounting analysis and administration of the DPDgroup UK Network & OD functions and the preparation of management accounts. Other key duties include;Assist with the preparation of management information including weekly and monthly accountsLiaise with the relevant departments to ensure that costs are recorded on an accurate and timely basis and any variances to plan are investigated.Complete all balance sheet reconciliations in order with the company policy alongside managing the collation of all balance sheets on a monthly basis.To provide financial support to senior budget holders in their decision making process along with analysis where required for planning and projects.Own the preparation and processing of journals for the weekly reporting of Network & OD for inclusion in the weekly results consolidation.Own the preparation presentation and commentary for weekly Network & OD costs reporting to directors and senior managersAssist with the preparation and review of presentational information as requested.Assist prepare and review all management accounts outputs to the business ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Any other tasks that might be reasonably requestedQualifications : About YouAs the successful candidate you will be able to evidence that you have finished university with a minimum 2:1 classification in any degree discipline.
