Job Description Our Hub Finance Manager is looking for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join their high performing team to support the accounting analysis and administration of DPD UKs Hub operation.Key Tasks ResponsibilitiesPreparation of daily and weekly P&Ls.Production of daily and weekly supportive performance management reports and dashboards to enhance operational effectiveness within the operation.Liaise with the Hub Security and Engineering teams to ensure that costs are recorded on an accurate and timely basis.Completion of all balance sheet reconciliations in order with the company policy to senior budget holders to aid their decision making processConduct variance analysis between actual financial results and the budget.Support the Finance Manager in creating annual budgets and financial forecasts.Involvement in projects and improving/automating processes within the Central Operations TeamSupport in identifying areas of cost and support efforts to control expenses.Any other tasks that might be reasonably requested Qualifications : About YouAs the successful candidate you will be able to evidence that you have finished university with a minimum 2:1 classification in any degree discipline. Additionally you must be willing to study either ACCA or CIMA qualification (ACA is not offered)What were looking for;Strong analytical skills and be able to present results in a simple and clear manner.Ability to self-manage workload and prioritise tasks according to deadlines importance and urgencyExcellent problem solving attitude with the drive to delivering resultsAbility to build rapport with the Finance team and other departments in addition to excellent communication skillsExcellent computer literacy skills being proficient in using Microsoft Excel Word and PowerPointDemonstrate the core values of DPD Passion Respect Honesty Flexibility Caring and Accountability.
