Our real-time scalable sequencing platform is transforming science and healthcare across the globe.Were seeking a strategic and hands-on Business Development Associate Director to join our growing Business Development team. This role is key to building partnerships that accelerate the adoption of nanopore sequencing in clinical applied and industrial markets. What Youll Be DoingAs Associate Director youll lead the development of external business partnershipsfrom initial concept through to execution and ongoing relationship management. Youll collaborate across ONT to assess opportunities build business cases and structure deals that support long-term growth.Your responsibilities will include:Acting as the main point of contact for one or more market segments within the business development teamDeveloping a deep understanding of clinical and industrial applications of ONTs technologyCollaborating with Commercial Clinical Solutions Marketing Product Management Finance and Legal teamsBuilding and maintaining business cases and financial models for new opportunitiesPreparing and presenting partnership proposals for executive reviewSupporting negotiations from term sheet to final agreementManaging a dashboard of active partnership projectsPromoting and adhering to ONTs partnering frameworks and processesMentoring junior team members as the team expandsAny other duties as required within the remit of the roleWhat Were Looking ForWere seeking someone who is:Experienced in business development ideally within biotech healthcare or industrial sectorsSkilled in building strategic partnerships and navigating complex deal structuresComfortable working cross-functionally and managing multiple stakeholdersProficient in financial modelling and commercial analysisA strong communicator with excellent project management skills Qualifications & ExperienceProven track record in business development or strategic partnershipsExperience with Salesforce Power BI and Tableau (advantageous)Background in clinical or industrial markets is a plusAn excellent opportunity to join our exciting and rapidly expanding business Offering excellent benefits including healthcare pension and more.
