Your new companyWorking closely with an initiative and growing company who are looking for a Senior Finance Assistant to join their fun and hard-working team. The Senior Finance Assistant position provides a varied and interesting role, where every day is different. The company manufactures a wide range of products, from benches, picnic tables to cycle shelters.Your new roleAs a Senior Finance Assistant, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

  • Drive coordination with all departments to ensure the month-end process and deadlines are met
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure that all sales invoicing is aligned with completed projects
  • Manage deferred income/credits and monthly reconciliation
  • Reconciliation of all Bank Accounts
  • Manage project sales data into Sage 50
  • Process credit card receipts through an online portal
  • Prepare the monthly supplier pay run, ensuring the cashflow operating system is managed
  • Create payroll & PAYE consolidation journals

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience working in a finance environment
  • Recognised Accounting qualification - AAT Level 3 qualified or equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of Sage 50 & Microsoft office
  • Previous experience in a senior finance role
  • Able to prioritise deadlines
  • Able to work effectively independently and under pressure
  • Organised, strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, and communication skills
