Your new companySouthend City Council are currently recruiting a team of gardeners/ maintenance to assist the Parks Operations in undertaking maintenance work on the public and sports areas. If you are enthusiastic and motivated to ensure the highest aesthetic standards through a practical frontline approach, this could be a great opportunity for you.Your new roleJoin the Parks Department to assist with the ground's maintenance work, within the sports area. The team are seeking candidates to join them in a long-term contract position with full-time hours (37 hours per week). Hours of work can vary, but Saturday and Sunday work is essential. You will be working in the vicinity of this site to carry out your day's work. This could include working on the highways. Duties will include all Emptying bins and litter picking. Grounds Maintenance Walking Opening and closing of sports grounds.What you'll need to succeedExperience in manual work, a driving licence is essential and a can-do approach.
