IT Manager


ICP is looking for an experienced IT Manager with expertise in network security, cybersecurity, server management, and IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading IT teams, managing vendor relationships, and implementing IT solutions to drive business success. Key responsibilities include overseeing IT operations, ensuring data security, leading projects, and aligning IT with organizational goals. We're seeking a dynamic leader skilled in project management, governance, and IT security, who thrives in an agile environment.


This role is a hybrid role based in London reporting to the Director of Technology.


How you are going to make an impact:


Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful execution of IT projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the IT Director to ensure IT initiatives resonate with broader business goals, integrating emerging technologies for a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify IT needs and develop strategic solutions to support business objectives.
  • Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services and solutions.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and trends in network security, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure to inform decision-making and drive innovation within the organization.
  • Conduct training sessions on company IT systems, software, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with local country managers and functional leads to plan and manage IT infrastructure globally.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts, evaluating performance, and ensuring that vendors deliver high-quality products and services.



IT Operations

  • Provide technical support and assistance to end users, troubleshooting issues, answering questions, and resolving problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network security and cybersecurity systems to protect company data and assets.
  • Manage and maintain servers, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security.
  • Monitor and analyse IT performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize IT operations.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems and networks, monitoring performance, diagnosing and resolving issues, and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
  • Coordinate procurement of IT equipment and services within budgets.


IT Security and Compliance

  • Establish and enforce security protocols, data protection measures, and compliance standards with the IT team.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to address vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure availability of well-maintained resources and plan for future needs.
  • Maintain accountability for services, resources, and information in line with ICP’s goals.
  • Provide training on GDPR and cybersecurity requirements.


What you will need (minimum qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field and 5 years’ experience in an IT management role
  • Proven experience as an IT Manager or in a similar leadership role, with a successful IT project delivery track record.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft platform (M365 and Azure),
  • Broad knowledge of SaaS, PaaS, cloud technologies, automation and Ai and PowerBI
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and optimising IT operations.
  • Innovative mindset with a passion for exploring and implementing new technologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with a knack for nurturing teams
  • Strong communication skills, capable of interacting with various stakeholders.
  • Experience with governance of cyber essentials and SSL certificates.
  • Experience with ISO27001 and SOC2
  • Experience writing technical documents, processes, etc (IT Security Policy, IT Security Q&A for customers).
