Join Our Team as a Class 2 HIAB Driver

Driver Hire Southampton is seeking Class 2 HIAB drivers to work with our esteemed clients in the builder's merchant sector.

About the Role:
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
  • Start Time: 7:00 am
  • Hours: 8-10 hour days
  • Deliveries: Multidrop deliveries of builder's merchant materials to residential areas and building sites around Southampton
  • Responsibilities: Accurate completion of paperwork, Manual handling and heavy lifting as needed
Requirements:
  • Full UK Class 2 licence
  • Valid CPC and Digi Tacho card
  • HIAB brick grab ticket
  • 6 months of experience driving Class 2 vehicles preferred (newly qualified drivers are welcome)
  • Previous multidrop experience beneficial
  • Own transport to commute to and from work
  • Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
  • Strong customer service abilities
  • Adherence to company health and safety procedures
