Job Title: Class 2 HIAB / Lorry Loader Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Class 2 HIAB driver to join our team at Specialist Driver Resourcing (SDR). As a Class 2 HIAB driver, you will be responsible for operating a HIAB crane to load and unload goods from vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a Class 2 HIAB vehicle to transport goods to various locations
  • Load and unload goods from vehicles using a HIAB crane
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of the HIAB crane
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and HIAB crane
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 HIAB qualification with Brick Grab and remote attachments
  • At least 6 months of commercial driving experience in Class 2 vehicles
  • 6 months of HIAB experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills

Working Conditions:

This role will involve working locally, covering up to 50 miles radius from your home address. You will be guaranteed a minimum of 8 hours work per day, with start times varying between 6am and 7:30am. Mileage will be paid after 15 miles each way at 45p per mile.
