Bar Manager

Thirteen at Chateau Denmark, located on the iconic Denmark Street, is where energy meets elegance, a space for bold encounters and vibrant experiences. For decades, Denmark Street has seen legends rise and tales unfold, and now, it calls for a visionary Bar Manager to carry on that legacy.

As Bar Manager at Thirteen, you'll combine sophistication with flair, ensuring that every guest experience embodies our ‘no half measures' approach to service. As a Bar Manageryou will be reporting directly to the General Manager, and work closely with the Bar team.

Profile

We're looking for a Bar Manager with a background in luxury or 5-star environments. With your extensive knowledge of mixology and impeccable service standards, you lead with both confidence and charm, always aiming to create a memorable guest experience.

Key Duties

  • Schedule, organise and supervise the shifts of the Bar Team.
  • Ensure that Opening, Closing and Operational duties are completed by all team members.
  • Liaise with other Departments, Suppliers and Third Parties whenever required, following up with the services acquired whenever necessary.
  • Engage with guests to promote a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere.
  • Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, cocktails, and other beverages, including emerging trends.
  • Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and cost control to maximize profitability.
  • Manage stock levels, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure quality and availability.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations, customer complaints, and operational issues swiftly and professionally.
  • Collaborate on creating and updating a premium cocktail and beverage menu.
  • Coordinating with the other departments and clients for Events bookings and inquiring.
  • Provide training, and ongoing development of the bar staff to maintain standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations.
  • Ensure all Standard Operation Procedure (SOPs) are up to date and staff full trained on them.
  • Ensures that each product served is prepared to perfection and that the bar area is always impeccably presented.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
  • Proficiency in POS and Bar Management Software.
  • Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team to deliver high standards in a high-end setting.
