Your new role
As a Legal Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our legal team, providing comprehensive support to ensure the smooth operation of our legal functions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation and reviewing of legal documents and contracts.
- Conducting legal research and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of housing laws and regulations.
- Managing and organising legal files and records.
- Coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders to gather necessary information.
- Supporting the legal team in litigation and compliance matters.
- Handling administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining databases.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a legal support role, preferably within the housing or real estate sector.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Secretarial skills, minute taking and audio typing.
