You will beleadinglarge and complexFMbids for a wide range of sectors including the public sector commercial propertiestransportation distribution historic buildings and many more.A hybrid role basedatourLondonofficesandhome-based this fast-paced varied role will see you join a growing team within a rapidly expanding organisation offering excellent opportunities for advancement and career progression.KEYRESPONSIBILITIESPrepare and write detailed compellinghigh-qualityand well-structured bids for proposals for hard services ensuring alignment with client requirements and organisationalobjectiveswhich describe the operational solution and key sections within ITTs and RFPsWork with the Bid Writing team to createhigh-quality documents and presentations working to exact deadlines andcreating high quality winning proposalsto grow the businessWork with the Estimating team to develop the commercial part of each tender and you will take the priced solution throughourestablish Governance process.Work within ourbid processworking closely with members ofthe business development team the operational teamsdelivering soft servicesand specialists fromacrossthe business.Work with internal stakeholders technical operations and sales team to develop cost-effective and innovative solutions for client needs tailored to each bidDevelop relationships with prospective clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored bids that meet their expectations and requirementsManage the end-to-end process ensuring deadlines are met documents arecompliantand submissions are professionally presentedAnalyse market trends and industry standards to position our offering effectivelyAssistin presenting bid solutions to prospective clients address queries and support the sales teamCollaborate with cross-functional teams including operations technical and finance departments to gather relevant information and ensure the bid meets client expectations and is commerciallyviable using operational colleagues to sense check designs and work with internal teams to create innovative bid winning solutionsHave a working knowledge of Microsoft Word PowerPointand Microsofts collaborative working tools supplemented by a positive attitudeflexibilityand willingness towork with a large network of colleagues across the company.Beorganisedreliableandenthusiasticand able to meet autonomously and prioritising workload and the workload of othersyoulllead oursoftFM bids including solutioningwritingandreviewinghigh-qualitybidsso that they can be completed andsubmittedina timelyfashion.Inresponse toclientquestions writingaccuratesuccinctand persuasivenarrative for the management and delivery of services.This role would suit an individual whois skilled at developingsoftFM solutionsenjoys writing working in a fast-paced salesenvironmentand would like to develop theirbid leadingcapabilities.REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEEssential Excellent written English Proven successful bid-leadexperience from within the publicorprivate sectorsGood knowledge ofthe facilities management sectorKnowledge and understanding of pricing and commercial considerations within tender response developmentProactive attitude Time management and planning IT skills:o Microsoft Wordo MicrosoftPowerpoint Understanding of Microsoft Office styles andthe application ofconsistent brandingDesirable Shipley/APMP training or similarKeenness for problem solving and completing projectsKnowledge of hard FM softFMand total facilities management solutions Degree-educated or relevant qualificationExperience of line management and developing less experienced team members Familiarity with:o Microsoft ExceloMicrosoftSharepoint Project Planner and TeamsBenefitsWere proud to offer a great range of benefits including: 24/7 GP: Both you and your immediate family can speak to a UK-based GP from the comfort of your own home Mental Health support and Life Event Counseling Get Fit Programme Financial and legal support Cycle to work scheme Access Perks at Work our innovative employee app where you can find: Perks: discounts gift cards cashback and exclusive offers Life: Search for resources and tools on topics ranging from family and life to health money and work Support: Online chat or telephone service for urgent support in a crisis For more information about ABMs benefits visit ourAbout ABM:ABM (NYSE: ABM) is one of the worlds largest providers of integrated facility engineering and infrastructure solutions.
