We are currently recruiting for an amazing opportunity to join our client who is a worldwide manufacturer renowned for small cars, 4x4 expertise, motorcycles, marine engines and ATVs.
Key Responsibilities for a Senior Management Accountant
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic re-forecasts.
- Responsible for the end-to-end monthly financial close process for the division in their remits.
- Presenting financial variances and insights to executive management on monthly basis.
- Prepare monthly Accounts Review packs and presenting month end results to the management team.
- Conduct monthly expense review meetings with budget holders ensuring that expenses are in line with budget/ forecast and challenge expense commitments when required.
- Participate in the annual external audit process by preparing necessary documentation and data.
- Prepare costing proposals for quarterly campaigns, making recommendations through consideration of sales forecast.
- Represent Finance Department during various meetings/ conferences/ events with stakeholders as required.
- Review effectiveness of systems and processes and make recommendations with regards to any potential future developments.
- Responsible for DIVA uploads adhering to parent company deadlines (monthly P&L submissions, budget and forecast).
Key Skills for a Senior Management Accountant
Essential:
- Knowledge, understanding or exposure to core principles of Accounting
- Part Qualified in ACA / ACCA / CIMA (Advanced, Strategic level)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages, notably Excel
Desirable:
- Experience with using SAP B1
- Management accounting experience
- Automotive sector experience

- A confident team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative ethos and the ability to interact and influence a diverse range of people
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
