The role is accountable for providing financial advice and guidance to divisional business leaders to support the achievement of revenue and profit targets. Senior Finance Business Partner- Responsibilities Strategic & Commercial PartnershipPartner senior business leaders within the allocated business units, providing strategic insight, challenge, and support to drive informed decision-making and business performanceTranslate financial information into actionable commercial insights, supporting the delivery of strategic objectives, business growth, and long-term financial sustainabilityPartner with operational leaders and support the Head of Commercial Finance-Divisional, in evaluating investment opportunities, preparing and assessing business cases, and modelling financial scenarios to support strategic initiatives and capital allocation decisions.Contribute to the development and delivery of the strategic plan, ensuring alignment with Group objectives and financial targetsAssist in the evaluation of pricing models, negotiation of contracts and assessing the financial viability of different projects/pricing proposals Planning, Forecasting & Performance ManagementLead the preparation of accurate and insightful quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and monthly management accounts for the business unitsContinuously enhance forecasting and planning processes, ensuring agility, transparency, and alignment with evolving business prioritiesDeliver high-quality management information (MI), KPIs, and performance dashboards that provide clear narrative, trends, and forward-looking analysisPerform detailed variance analysis, identifying key drivers of performance, risks, and opportunities, and proactively advising stakeholders on corrective actionsPartner divisional management to optimise costs, improve profitability and identify any areas for efficienciesOperational & Continuous ImprovementChampion improvements in financial and operational reporting to better support strategic decision-making across the businessCollaborate cross-functionally to implement and validate non-financial metrics that drive holistic business performanceLead initiatives that enhance process efficiency, data quality, and insight capability Play a key part in the implementation and enhancement of the new ERP systemFinancial Governance & ReportingEnsure the effective management of income and expenditure against approved budgets and strategic plansSupport the Head of Commercial Finance- Divisional in the preparation of any year end/audit requirementsUphold robust financial governance by identifying and escalating financial or operational risks that could impact the business or its reputation Leadership & DevelopmentSupport more junior finance team members, fostering analytical capability, commercial acumen, and a proactive partnering mindsetPromote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement Act as a role model for commercial finance excellenceSenior Finance Business Partner - Required Experience Qualified or qualified by experience CIMA, ACCA or ACAExperience working in business partnering rolesMust have experience of working on pricing Experience working for a marketing services business or other people and time based businessSenior Finance Business Partner - The PackageSalary £55,000-65,00025 days holiday plus bank holiday and the option to buy moreHybrid working - 3 days in office Access to onsite gymLife assurance Enhanced family leave Wellbeing and volunteering days
